At Clayton Family Massage and Wellness, my purpose is to walk your journey with you while you are seeking and embracing health and wellness. Your session with me isn't limited to bodywork: I am also an ally in your health journey. Because of my own health struggles, I've trained in many holistic therapies and coaching programs and have sought out the best professionals in our area to help you get to the root cause of your concerns. I'm also someone to talk to and/or laugh with after a bad day, week or month. Your bodywork session will be custom curated for your unique chronic pain or stress needs. I use multiple modalities and tools in each session with no extra fees.
Formerly located within Artmosphere Community Arts Center in West Clayton, I moved my entire practice, also in West Clayton, to a tiny blue cottage on my personal property located on a gravel, shared lane. Please contact me here or text at 919-341-9233
I will ask you several questions to make sure we are a fit and to be sure you are a legitimate potential client and not a scammer.
Services offered with each bodywork session include deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching, guasha, hot stones, hot towels, aromatherapy, face and scalp massage, and soothing music to relax the nervous system. I talk if you talk. I am quiet if you choose to be quiet. While I offer relaxation elements in every session, I do not offer relaxation-only therapy unless it's for chronic stress, PTSD, anxiety and/or depression. We will have this discussion before each session. Raynaud's, POTS, EDS, and CPTSD/PTSD informed.
Hi! I am Traci LMBT #16555, your licensed Neuromuscular Bodywork Therapist. Originally from Ohio, I moved to NC to study education where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Here I met the love of my life, married him and raised our children here for nearly three decades. Finding myself overwhelmed with working in the classroom and dealing with my own health issues, I decided to take a detour where I found myself led to massage therapy. I honestly can't tell you why or where the leading came from, but I've been successful from the start. I started working for myself right out of massage school. During my time in massage bodywork school, I was introduced and exposed to exciting learning opportunities such as: interning with NCAA athletes and Olympic Gold Medalists every week. Internship at a local spine and physical therapy clinic, Thai massage and ayurvedic training as well as prenatal, reiki, Qigong, aromatherapy, and more. More recently, I've had the opportunity to teach different classes within the Therapeutic Massage Program at our local community college. I am passionate about holistic healthcare especially focusing on root cause and natural remedies and wellness. I love working with health professionals on your team to get you to your highest functioning self!
Outside of business, I love to travel, the beach, family, and good food!
